Replication Documentation
JoeA2006 12.09.2006 13:18:01
Could anyone suggest any articles on the steps involved in creating a
replica. I mainly need to have a way for laptop user to sync data to a
database on the network. I read many postings and help files but have not
found basic instructions on how to perform replication.

When I tried to create a replica in Access 2000, I received a message
"Microsoft cannot start SQL Dialogues, this feature is not currently
installed. Would you like to install it now? Is this something that I should
get I.T. to install or woul d It be safe to click "yes"?

The instructions in the help file ought to suffice -- it's not a
complex process.

I have never heard of "SQL Dialogues." It has nothing to do with
replication, but it suggests to me that you might have some
un-needed references that you might want to remove before
replicating.
