Hello all,

I can place a watermark in a document.Can you place a watermark -- even
different watermarks -- in sections of a document?

Thanks for any assistance you can give.

Yes. A watermark is nothing more or less than a graphic anchored to the
header. Word 2002 and 2003 make it very easy to insert a watermark in a
document (and sometimes very difficult to remove one), but you can create a
watermark by hand by following the instructions in “HOW TO: Create a
Watermark in Word 97 and in Microsoft Word 2000” at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=211324. Alternatively, you can let Word
create the watermark, then View | Header and Footer and cut or copy the
watermark for insertion elsewhere. You can also move and edit it in that
view.
