Tab back style set to transparent

It seems that when the back style of a tab is set to transparent, it acts the
same as normal, not permitting the colours or picture of the form below it to
appear through the tab

Only the body of the tab control is transparent. The tabs are not, and any
control (including a subform) on a tab page is not.
