Synchronizing both Direct and Indirect
"rg" <rg01[ at ]goodnews.net> 19.09.2006 20:16:04
Have a situation where the network works well for ~90% of users with DIRECT
synchronization.

Several other users will need to use INDIRECT synchronization due to their
connectivity issues. Both of these user groups will access the same
replica for synchronization.

DIRECT synchronization works well. Any suggestions with combining this
with INDIRECT synchronization?

In addition, is there a document that would walk one through configuring
workstations/servers for INDIRECT synchronization?

Regards.

As long as this replica is not being used for editing on a LAN and
is not the Design Master, it should be OK.

There's no issue, so far as I can see. Why would there be?

What part of the white paper is unclear about it?
