What you need to look for is probably add-ins trying to run macros; note the name of the "project," and that will give you a clue. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CheckIfAddinsInstalled.htm. If you will change your Macro Security setting to Medium, then you'll get a chance to enable the macros. Also, if the add-ins are in the Word Startup folder, they will be trusted (macros enabled) if you check "Trust all installed templates and add-ins" on the Trusted Sources tab of Tools | Macro | Security.
