Excel won't open cagledawg 28.09.2006 14:43:02 Excel only flashes up when trying to open it. Double-clicking a file gets the following message: Cannot find the file "filename" (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. Windows 2000 Professional SP4 Office 2003 SP2 All other office applications are running correctly. All temp files have been emptied. Excel has been reregistered. Installation has been repaired. Excel has been uninstalled and reinstalled. Office has been uninstalled and reinstalled. No .xlb files found. Nothing in XLStart folder. Cannot open in safe mode. I have been to Chuck Pearson's website,MrExcel,Experts-exhange,this discussion group and others. No luck. -- Thanks. cagledawg
