Excel reports following error in Dist_Init:9-Subscript out of Rang

What does this error mean?

I am opening an excel which we are using as a front end budgeting tool to
Oracle. When I open the file, this error appears. When I click 'ok', it
closes the original file and opens a blank one.

Thank you.

check your auto open macro to see if there is a file that it is looking for
thay no longer exists by that name.
