Hi
I'm trying to use the third option in the Pivot table assistant.
I'm using a French version of XL and I'm not sure of the exact wording in
English.

It's in the section entitled Where is the data, and it's the third option
down, and it's something like "Spreadsheet zones with labels".

How does that thing work ?

On Sheet1, I have this
Customer part date Price
ABC 1234 12/08/2006 97
ABC 1235 13/08/2006 78
DDD 1236 14/08/2006 57
DDD 1237 14/08/2006 96
DDD 1238 14/08/2006 56
DDD 1239 14/08/2006 55
XYZ 1240 18/08/2006 85
XYZ 1241 19/08/2006 65
XYZ 1242 20/08/2006 98


On Sheet1, I have this
Customer part date Price
ABC 1234 12/08/2006 92
ABC 1235 13/08/2006 65
ABC 1236 14/08/2006 93
ABC 1237 15/08/2006 76
XYZ 1238 16/08/2006 79
XYZ 1239 17/08/2006 64
XYZ 1240 18/08/2006 98
XYZ 1241 19/08/2006 76
XYZ 1242 20/08/2006 58


In the Wizard's dialogue box, I add these two zones and finish
but the in Layout instead of getting
Customer part date Price

as field names I get "Line" and "Column" and "Values".

I've done a lot of figgering in my time but I've not figgered this one yet.
