We’ve confirmed all recommended permissions and settings as described in postings on this site and Microsoft’s regarding this problem and still we’re experiencing this problem.
Here’s a peculiarity to our specific problem notable in the difference in steps 2, 5 &6 of both connection methods described herein.
CONNECTION METHOD 1: 1) Open IE-V6.0.2800.x 2) Enter URL to access message system - “mail.exchangewebserver.com/servername†3) Provide username (test.user), password (password) and authenticating domain (domain.com) and click “okâ€. 4) Open new message and purposely misspell and check 5) Receive error - “The spelling in this item can't be checked. Try again later.†6) When I mouse over the folders the status bar shows the path: i.e. – mail.exchangewebserver.com/servername/test.user/#
CONNECTION METHOD 2: 1) Open IE-V6.0.2800.x 2) Enter URL to access message system – “mail.exchangewebserver.com/servername/test.user[ at ]domain.com†3) Provide username (test.user), password (password) leaving the authenticating domain field blank, click “okâ€. 4) Open new message and purposely misspell and check 5) The spell checker works perfectly 6) When I mouse over the folders the status bar shows the path: i.e. – mail.exchangewebserver.com/servername/test.user[ at ]domain.com/#
