Problem opening Word 2K pro Bob1941 29.08.2006 01:19:02 Whenever I open Word, instead of immediately opening a window appears indicating that windows is attempting to either install or configure some feature of the program, but after a bit, another window appears saying the files needed are contained on the installation CD and therefore, I should load it and go from there, or words to this effect. Now, I have attempt to repair and/or reinstall Office 2000 pro, and select "run all from my computer" but that has not worked and I still have to go through the same rigamarole, each time I open word; Oh, it eventually opens but not before going through all the steps listed in paragraph one, herein. Can anyone out there help? -- bmh
