RE: Creating a Report

Assuming you have the material in a sorting/grouping section, then look at
the properties of the section. There is a 'force new page' property. Set this
to After section and you should get each material details on a separate page.

Just to piggy-back on Dennis's post, if you want the data sorted, you MUST
use the Sorting/Grouping feature in the report. Reports don't respect the
underlying order of their recordsources.

If Material A, etc. is a value in a field e.g Material, then you can group on Material and in the Group Header properties set it to Force New Page Before Section.

Creating a Report
"Marcel Stoop" <marcel.stoop[ at ]freesurf.ch> 01.11.2007 09:18:36
Hi everyone

My Report retrieves data from a specific MS SQL Table. The report is
filtered by a SQL Statement.
The Data within that Table can be defined into 3 sub-categories; say
Material A, Material B, Material C

My Question is:
Is it possible to tell the Report to start a new Page as soon as data from
the next category appears. So, as soon as all the Data concerning Material A
has been retrieved and put into the report, the report should start a new
page for Material B.

Thanks for the help

Marcel
