Novice seeks help putting Access DB info into webpage table via Frontpage 2003
skirchdo[ at ]excite.com 21.09.2006 15:11:15
The title says it all. I'm new to tying Access DB to a web page, so
I'm real green on this topic.

I have a web page with a table on it. I want to be able to call
different data from fields in the Access database and have it displayed
in a certain table cell.

I have an image map of a classroom floor plan showing desks with
computers at them. When the user clicks on each computer I want
another web page to pop up and show a table with the database info for
that particular computer.

I haven't found anything that explains how to do this. Cna someone
help me out with this one?

Thanks.

P.S. - This info table page doesn't require any input from the viewer,
just to display it. The table is formatted a certain way as well so a
generic table won't work since the position of the data within the
table is critical for displaying the info correctly.

P.P.S. - The database is just a .MDB Access file located on the web
server folder. No server side database program is running. I'm trying
to make this a self contained webpage.
