Outlook Pro 2003 + BCM treble[ at ]excite.com 26.09.2006 07:50:06 Hello I have this problem. Its the one everyone is having. That is BCM does not show up in Outlook when installed. Now I have a thought I would like to put out there as a possible cause and I have seen this several times from some large companies when trying to install software that needs DOT NET. OK my BCM update installed insisted I install DOT NET 1.1 despite the fact that I have DOT NET 2.0 installed. No amount of me cancelling DOT NET 1.1 install resulted in a complete install of BCM. I have also seen this with Computer Associates products where it cannot determine that DOT NET 2.0 is higher than DOT NET 1.1 So now I have DOT NET 1.1 and DOT NET 2.0 installed and the BCM doesn't work. I am expecting to find other programs now not working but will have to wait for them to filter through. OK with all that in mind has anyone or DOES anyone think this may have been what happened when they tried installing BCM with Outlook 2003? Other than that has anyone found the magic bullet that gets this program working? I wouldn't use it myself but my customers dont know any better. Thanks Treble
