Printing, ruler and grids.
Steph 28.09.2006 14:47:01
I am currently testing InfoPath and I have 2 questions:

1. Does InfoPath have rulers and grids?

2. I created a form in "print view" but when I printed the form it did not
look the same as in the print view. The printed form is bigger.
We create paper forms and we need to have the exact reproduction. Is there
a way to create a form in “print view” that will look the same when printed?

Thank you

1. I don't think it does.

2. You could create a snapshot (picture) of the paper form (scan it in e.g.)
and set it as a background picture to your form (through "Format > Background
Color > Use a background picture"). Then use layout tables to position the
controls on the form. Preview the printed version of your form by using "File
[Quoted Text]
> Print Preview" to see whether the layout fits and is satisfactory.
