Error: Attempt to modify a read-only node
pearsond 22.08.2006 18:45:02
Hi,

I have a form that when most users install it and open it, everything works
fine. However, one user receives an error that Infopath cannot open the form
due to an error in the forms code; Attempt to modify a read-only node. I do
not execute any custom code during form open/load, only a few data
connections are filled and some drop-down list boxes are populated.

I checked the InfoPath version on some of the computers that it works on and
the version is 11.6565.6568 SP2. On the computer that cannot open the form
the version is 11.8034.8036 SP2. Internet Explorer is the same version on
both machines, as well as the .NET Framework 1.1, and the InfoPath PIA's.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
