View | Header and Footer. Decide if you want the pages numbered at the top or bottom and switch to bottom if necessary using the third button from the left. If the page numbers are to be centred, tab once, if right aligned tab twice to move to right margin. Type A- and then click the page number icon (the first one beside Autotext). Repeat in each document changing only the letter A to B etc. Hope this solves your problem. -- Rae Drysdale
