Problem copying jpgs from Windows Explorer into Word "k1w1" <kiw120012001[ at ]yahoo.com> 05.09.2006 23:27:42 I have a client that until recently has been able to browse to .jpg files, using Windows Explorer, and select and copy a file, then open Word and paste the image in. All that happens now is that we get a placeholder box with the pictures filename. Using the same process with bmp files works fine. Operating system is Windows XP, and I believe the version of office is 97, possibly 2000. Any thoughts or ideas? My thought was that something had changed the jpg conversion filter, and he did mention having installed software for a cell phone and transferring pictures. Any ideas how to test if I'm on the right path? Thanks.
