I want to be able to use a horizontal scroll bar in word.

I am using Word 2003 and I am having a hard time trying to find a view that
offers you a horizontal scroll bar.

I am using a very large page (11 X 17) and my document is in landscape. In
older versions of word you could toggle between views with a small toolbar
located at the bottom of the page, which of course I didn't know the name of,
but you see your documents outline and other views. It does not seem to be
available under view. Anyway I used to be able to access a view that had a
horizontal scroll bar so you didn't have to always point and click with your
mouse. Can anyone help me?

On the View tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Horizontal scroll
bar." The bar is displayed in all views.
