Mouse will not select text in document Tixx 20.07.2006 22:11:01 I have a user with Office 2003 Basic. In the Word application he is unable to select text in the docuement but can click on the buttons in the toolbar, edit text and select text with the arrows. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, did the support.dot, and replaced the normal.dot template with no changes in the application. What could be causing the problem with Word? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Tixx

I removed the antivirus program and reloaded it, it is via firewall and the faxing software but did not reload that. My outlook problem was resolved but still I cannot select text with the mouse in Word. The end users can use Excel just fine with the mouse that is what makes it so strange.
