Hi,
Is there a way to determine if a Word paragraph has consistent formatting (i.e. all characters formatted the same) ?
There didn't seem to be any easy way to know this and so I was thinking of a solution where I intially process the document and build a sorted (by position) list of all the styles in use and their position. Then process paragraph by paragraph, checking for each paragraph, whether any of the styles in the list are "contained" in the paragraph. However, I expect that this wouldn't work where the document creator used direct (or manual) formatting ? or would it be feasible to convert direct character formatting to character style formatting before building the sytle list? Thanks in advance
