Email hyperlink opens dozens of IE windows. ob 25.07.2006 23:03:02 Running Windows XP, Office Outlook is default mail. When clicking on an email hyperlink on a web page, Outlook doesn't open, but instead over 50 to 60 IE windows open, but don't connect to anything. Has happened even after full virus scan, spyware scans. Any ideas?

No problem with hyperlink to a webpage - only occurs when clicking on email hyperlink. Were you able to find a solution? But because the problem is on a friends computer, I won't be able to look at it for another few weeks. As soon as I resolve the problem I will let you know. If you want check what I have found out up until now under Internet Explorer 6/General "e-mail hyperlink in Word opens over 50 IE windows" If you do find the solution after seeing what I have found out, I would appreciate hearing about it.
