Error Codes when installing

I get error codes 1926 and 1392 (at the same time) when trying to instal
Office 2003 Professional Edition on an XP machine. Any ideas?

Hi, I may be wrong but is this the error code you get when SP1 is installed
and not SP2?

Regards,

neil

I'm just trying to start the standard CD...I haven't even got to the service
pack 2 CD yet. The full error is:

"Error 1926. Could not set file security for file 'C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\MSDAIPP\OFFLINE\'. Error: 1392.
Verify that you have sufficient priveleges to modify the security permissions
for this file."

Given that this is my home laptop. I should have no issues with security
priveleges.

Ideas?

You receive an "Error 1926" error message when you try to install Office on your
Windows XP-based computer or on your Windows 2000-based computer
