Publishing A Template To IIS on NT4
renee rieser <renee[ at ]alaska.net> 27.07.2006 23:22:13

We have an older webserver that's still hosting internal forms. It's
using IIS and Cold Fusion on Windows NT Server. One of our users
published some *important* forms (newly reminted to use Infopath) to
this webserver using the fileshare as the primary path and the NT
webserver as the alternate path.

It published okay but when users click on the hyperlink, it gives a
404 error.

Could it be that it (the webserver? the browser?) doesn't know how to
handle the XSN files?

Every client machine has Infopath installed on it. None of the servers
have Infopath installed. PDFs, XLS, and DOCs open just fine from this
webserver.

TIA
