Adding an average column to a PivotTable report
Woodsy 26.07.2006 14:15:02
I have a PivotTable report that breaks out hours worked (data) by project
worked on (row) and month hours were worked (column). I can easily add a
grand total column to the end of the pivottable by selecting the month field
and clicking the subtotal button on the toolbar. How can I change/edit this
subtotal column or add a new column that calculates a total average hours
worked for all the months in question? In other words, I have data from
Jan-Jun and a grand total of this data. I need an average column for this
data as well, ideally one that counts blank fields as "0" values, so if
Jan-May had data and June had 0 hours worked (blank), it would stillb e
factored into the average.
