Hello everyone,
I have a simple problem. I have a Data Access page which uses a
dropdownlist (called dropdownlist3) to filter the records on the page
based on a certain field value. I want to use the defaultvalue item of
a field on the DAP so that I can write an expression to put whatever is
the value of the dropdownlist into the field box (which is a textbox by
default) when a new record is created. The field is called SSN1. I have
tried things such as =[dropdownlist3].value and etc. but I'm not having
any luck. Does anyone know the proper expression for this case?
BTW the DAP is continuous, but it shouldn't make a difference.
