Sorry but you cannot do that.
The JET OLEDB driver doesn't work over the internet (or WAN) so unless you are using some other transport layer such as a VPN or RDS, you cannot open an Access database over the internet; hence DAPs will work only on your local machine or over a local LAN.
If you want to edit an Access database over the internet, you must use another technology like ASP.NET or PHP or whatever but not DAP.
(If you could have access to an instance of SQL-Server, you could use DAP to access it but even then, you would have potential problems with firewalls and proxies so even in this case, using DAP would not be a wise choice.)
