how do I import a MS Word Template to MS Access as a form?
Difficult 10.07.2006 14:55:01
I would like to import / link existing MS Word 2003 Templates that i've
created to MS Access 2003 as a form for users to simply save onto their pc's
but they must not have the ability to edit the forms. I've managed to link
the template but when users open the document it actually allows them the
ability to edit the original template.

You'll need to use Word's document protection options.

Thank you John you hit the nail on the head just one more question if the
users wanted to save the document on their pc's for without the restrictions
how would they go about it.

They'd need to unprotect the document, using (if necessary) the password
you used to protect it.
