log on screen in Access? Maria needs help 14.07.2006 15:58:02 For a reason unknown to me, Access now requires me to log in before doing anything. I did not set up any permissions and I am the only one using the program (on a personal computer). I cannot do anything at all... cannot create a new file, cannot open a template... nothing. Everything requires a log in which I do not have. I have even uninstalled and clean installed the program to try to fix it and that did not work either. Can someone please help me access my Access??

Is it prompting for a username and password or just a password? I'm assuming the former. Do a search on your computer (Start, Search) for *.mdw. Whatever ones you find, rename them eg. system.mdw change to system1.mdw. Maria needs help 16.07.2006 15:52:02 I do not understand what you mean by "signatures" but my settings and various definitions are up to date and I have run system wide scans for both.
