can't run report from crystal reports Tami 17.07.2006 13:41:02 I'm trying to run a crystal report from an access database. When trying to select any table from this database as the data source I get the error: Query Engine Error: 'DAO Error Code: 0xC26 Source: DAO.Fields Description: Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for table or query '(1)School Info'.' I suspect that it has something to do with the security of the database. Please Help.

You should be able to set the Connection info in your CR program. I use CR11 (and hate it, by the way, but all my corporate clients use it) and I can define the connection parameters in the Database - Set Datasource location.
