Incrementing Numbers in Word

For the purposes of diagrams, you may want to use incrementing numbers
throughout your document. I did not have an easy time finding how to
do this on the web, so I will add instructions here for indexing search
purposes.

Insert Field...
Use Type "Seq"
And specify and "Identifier", such as 'Diagrams'.

Inserting this field anywhere in the document will auto-increment the
number automatically.

Another quick tip, to update all these at once, use Select+All, then
F9.

Alternatively, you can use Insert | Reference | Caption.
