Brackets in MW 2002?
"Jay" <someone[ at ]someplace.invalid> 11.07.2006 03:18:11
Hello everybody,

I hope this is the right newsgroup for Microsoft word 2002. If it is not,
please tell me otherwise.

Basically, I'd like to be able to put a bracket around some text. When I say
bracket, I mean to underline the text and then have the underscore go
straight up at the end of the selected text such that it makes a 90 degree
angle with the underscore. Any suggestions?

thanks,

Jay

Seems like you are referring to a paragraph border. Try Format |
Borders and Shading, Borders tab.

On the other hand, if you are setting up a form, see:

I'm designing a form that needs to have “fill-in-the-blanks” lines.
What is the best way to create them?
