If File/Save As there's an option to save back to the Word 97-2003 *.doc file format. Sharing documents should be no problem. 2. When Office 2007 is released a set of converters will be available that can be used with Word 97 and later. Older versions will be able to open the new file format, and also be able to SAVE to that format.
