Please bear with me on this, I am a neophyte in regard to the ODBC programming.
We are running Access 2000 on a small LAN ,, we are in the process of developing a website to eventually conduct sales transactions... I developed the database and there is a website developer that is working on that end of the system.
The issue that the website developer is running into is that there is an apparent limitation of the amount of data that can be queried (SQL to the DB backend) from the database back end..
..For example a simple table of a few fields and a few rows of data is quickly obtained via query, however if you attempt to query a complete table of say 20 fields and 1800 rows, the query will not run.
I am not sure of where the limitations are defined. and if there is a workaround... At this point I would appreciate any information or reference ,,,regarding this type of communication process .
A service has been established on the server and there is a connection that is working to get to the backend of the DB.
Thanks in advance for the assistance/info
Tony
