Drop Box issue
"JensB" <JensB[ at ]newsgroup.nospam> 11.07.2006 10:38:05
I am using indirect Internet replication JRO, replicating between mobile
laptops
and the server, using Replication Manager.
I just want to know if something is wrong, if the .TMP and .MSG files
remain in the DropBox folder,
after replication has finished?

Does the synchronization history show the synchs as complete? Are
the replicas identical after the synch?

You also might want to check the permissions on the dropbox. All
users need to have delete permission on files in the dropbox, or
their synchronizers won't be able to delete the files. This means
both the share permissions and the underlying file system
permissions, which are distinct -- share permissions can't give more
access than is permitted by the underlying file system permissions.

Hi David

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Synchronization have been working OK all the time, but giving Users full
control,
enabled the replication manager to delete the .tmp and .msg files.
