Bullet-point list with hyphens problems
Loretta 06.07.2006 14:45:02
I'm using Word 2003 to edit documents and am having problems with a bullet
point list in the document. It was made using hyphens and I suspect Word then
autoformated it to make it a sort of bulleted list with the hypens. I cannot
get rid of them completely, nor replace them with any other sort of bullet.
Deleting the hyphens just makes them jump to the line above. Copying and
pasting the list out to another document and then carefully highlighting just
the text and putting it back seems to be the only thing that works. Has
anybody else managed to solve this one more simply? Or is it just a bug in
Word 2003 that I've unfortunately discovered?

Have you tried "Clear Formatting" to reset to Normal style (or, if you are
using other styles, Ctrl-Q to reset to your paragraph style)?

For information on how best to control bullets, see
