I had ON2007 beta installed, then uninstalled it. When I try to re-install, I get the message
The file {30120000-00A1-0409-0000-0000000FFICE}--C\OneNoteMUI.MSI could not be found. Setup failed. Rolling back changes...
Then it asks me to send an error message to MS, which I did but got no reply.
If anybody knows how to fix this, I'd sure appreciate some help.
Thanks,

I am not sure if this will help, but you could try deleting the MSOCache hidden directory on your C:\ drive. And then downloading the Beta 2 again.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I still get the same error message.

Someone posted a fix for the reinstallation problem, and I've confirmed it works. Uninstall all versions of OneNote and then do a search on 'OneNote' in the registry. Delete all the entries found. Then you can reinstall. Hundreds of registry entries will probably be involved. You will need a utility that finds more than one at a time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had tried that, but when I got your suggestion I tried again. I found and deleted 26 OneNote entries, apparently left there by the previous failed install. But when I try again to install ON, I get the same message.
Thanks again,
