shortcut for font size
"exciter" <t24680[ at ]hotmail.com> 13.07.2006 08:40:46
Hello,

I always need to decrease or increase the font size of sentences in a
document when I am writing.
And while hands are on the keyboard, I dont feel like using the mouse.
Hence I am trying to find a key combination to decrease/inc the font size.
For instance through the - and + signs.
So far I could not manage to find such a combination or could not figure out
how to setup this.
Would this be possible at all and what do I need to do.
Please be clear and explanatory in your answer in explaining the steps I
should take to setup this.
If this works, it will be great for me since I am writing on ON all day long
and need to change the font size all the time.
Thank you in advance guys.
Regards

Th elatter does not work.
But you can easily open the Dialog for selecting fonts and ssetting
the size:

a) Form the main menu Formt (Alt+D), the select "font" which opens the
Dialog on the right side.
The filed for the font-siteze is active by default and you can Tab
around.

b) Easier: Opene the Dialog directly with Ctrl+D, then as above.

Sorry I dont get your point.

Instead of doing what you suggest I can also click on the conerning box on
the bar
where the font size indicated.
What is the point of even using ctrl+d and then choosing the font size.

What I want to do is just inc/dec the font size with a direct key
combination,
without using the mouse whatsoever.

AFAICS there's no way except finding someone who'd write an add-in.
