Why is one of my sections in ON2003 stuck in "Read-Only" mode!? alainr 11.07.2006 20:11:01 One of my sections in my notebook in ON2003SP2 is stuck in read-only mode for the past hour or so. I tried closing and re-opening ON, I checked the file access rights... all to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this or have any idea what is going on?

Check the Task Manager, not just Tasks but Processes. Sometimes programs will remain open as processes but not show up in the tray. I have had this happen in OneNote 2007. If two copies of the section are open, the second one opened will be read only.
