Hi,
I try to import contects from an Excel sheet into Outlook. Unfortunately there is no such filter nor text filters installed, so Outlook wants to install them. This does not work, I get the message pro11.msi is not found. There is no pro11.msi on that CD nor on the PCs harddisk somewhere.
I was reading in newsgroups that I have to uninstall and reinstall Office completely. Is Microsoft still living in the ice age? I just want to import a couple if contacts, I am not willing to spend hours for the un-install, installation an registration process and all of the setups which I have to do during the installation and after. On the other hand: there is NO pro11.msi on the CD so I will run into this problem the next time I want to change my Office setup!?
Is there any other possibility? I am working with the registered version of Office 2003 Professional (home use program).
Thanks in advance Andi Pfaff
