I got the same error only I use windows vista beta 2, but I installed on a windows xp sp2 at my work place and did not get eny error with the same instalation kit. I think is the windows Installer with the problem ..try to install the latest version uninstall the one you use ...I can't do theat wit my vista but you can try that...I hope it will work.. and if someone has eny ideea how to do the same with vista ...if I'm rong then is a permition problem with writeing of that C:\Config.msi ..I tink...best of enything you wish! (sorry for the bad grama...)
