Hey Fred,
To remove Office 2003.
Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
Go to support.microsoft.com
"Search the KB" Type 290301 and click on Go
Click on "Description of the Windows Installer CU"
Under More Information, click on Download WICU
After installing WICU, Go to All Programs and open WICU
Remove Office 2003 from the list
Now you can install Office 2003 off the CD
