Auto fill in of Product key dave 13.07.2006 20:35:02 Is there a way to automatically fill in my product key? We have a volume license key and we want to manually install office on each PC. But, I don't want to type in the key each time. Is there some kind of batch file I can run from a disk or something that will do it for me? Is there some other way? Thanks in advance Dave

RE: Auto fill in of Product key Rob Grayson 13.07.2006 21:08:01 Download the 2003 Office Resource Kit Utility from Microsoft and install it on a workstation. Create an Admin installation point for Office using setup.exe /a. Run the Custom Installation Wizard from the resource kit, and pointing to your admin install, you can create a transform file with as much or little customized information in it that you like. Store the transform file with your Admin installation point. You then launch the setup using "msiexec.exe /i xxx.msi transforms=yyy.mst" (or something close to that) and office will install with your customizations in place.
