Every time I startup my computer, or launch an MS Office Application, I get a message that the computer is looking for a disk with MS Office with Front Page. I don't use or want to use Front Page, but a few weeks ago, a colleague sent a file to me in this program, and I tried to open it not realizing what it was. Any way, since then my computer has tried to install the program....and I really don't want or need it. Any thoughts on how I can make this stop.
Thanks!

Have you tried inserting the disk and see what it wants next?

I don't have the disk with Frontpage (Front Page?), and I don't especially want to install the product any way. I use the big four (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), but have never really needed Frontpage.
Thanks for the quick response.

Try inserting whatever Office Pro XP disk you do have. No one says you have to install a program you don't want but you may need a file that's still on the CD.

It may not be asking for FrontPage itself. What it's asking for is something off the CD entitled MS Office with FrontPage. There were certain versions of Office that came with FrontPage, and the installer would always refer to the installation cd in this fashion whether or not it was doing anything with installing FrontPage.
Hope this helps, Mark Fitzpatrick Microsoft MVP - FrontPage
