Is it possible to create an unattended install using an .msp file? I have created custom installation files, but launching setup.exe /adminfile mymsp.msp launches a dialog box that asks me what product I want to install. I do not want any interaction with the application install. Is there a way to use the /config and /adminfile parameters in combination to create a totally silent install? Is that necessary? If assigning an .msp file to setup it should already know what app i'm installing because I told it when I created the .msp file.
Any help would be great

Hi Rob,
When you create a MS Office 2007 .msp 'customization patch file' and either place it in the \Updates folder on your Office Network installation point or modify the config.xml file to point to it, it should be automatically included as part of the install when you run Setup.exe from the Office 2007 Network Installation point.
You may want to take a look at the steps on this in the Office 2007 Resource Kit (if you're using a machine that does not have Office 2007 installed, add the ActiveX control from link #3 below to review the beta 2007 Resource Kit at http://officebeta.iponet.net/en-us/techcenter/FX100644811033.aspx
