Office Pro 7 BETA Activation problems Kent Clarke <dev[ at ]null.com> 12.07.2006 20:30:08 I have installed Office Pro 7 BETA on my XP machine with SP2. It keeps trying to activate and saying that it can't find a connection to the internet. They SAY this is caused by either a Proxy Server or a Firewall. I am using noeither. One guy said to KEEP TRYING. That doesn't help either. Anyone got any bright ideas? Thanks

It is networked, BUT I have also tried acivating with it connected directly to the Cable MOdem without the network attached at all.
