Help with understanding the Vendor Information sample form Zackra 12.07.2006 14:28:03 Hi I’m new to InfoPath and got the luckily job of creating a form with it, even though nobody else in the company has used it. YA for me.. *groan*. What make it worse it that I'm only a new graduate start so being more than thrown in at the deep end, more like being held under. Anyways, I manage to throw something together in the knowledge I manager to scrape together from the net. But guess what, they want it done differently. Just by luck I was browsing through the sample forms and come across the "Vendor Information" one which has exactly what I'm looking for. On the "Vender Products and Services" section of the form you click a button which opens a custom task pane that allows you to select multiply option, which then appear in a table on the Form at the click of a button. I've studied this taskpane.htm file and created my own form then own taskpane.htm but I can't seem to get the "updateComCat()" method to work (I’m ignoring the ‘createComCatArray()’ method as I’m using hardcoded arrays). I keep getting errors which I don't understand so don't know what I'm doing wrong. So basically, I was wondering if one smart person out their could give me a walk through (i.e. commented lines of code) of what that method is doing and how it relates back to the form I'd be very grateful. Or if you know of a good walk through on the web that does something similar, post a link. Thanks Ryan
