Cannot send my Report via MicroSoft Outlook
Hoopster 05.07.2006 17:33:01
Hi guy's, I am having a bit of a problem with one of my Reports being sent
out using Outlook. The key here is "one" of my Reports. All the others work
just fine but the one I'm working on now gives me an Error, "Unknown message
recipient(s); the message was not sent." I have exhaused everything I can
think of but can't figure it out. If I leave the "To" blank in the SendObject
part of the Macro, Outlook comes up and lets me pick the recipient and send
it on it's way without any problem. It just won't do it on it's own. Any
ideas?

Hoopster,

So, what are you putting in the 'To' argument of the macro?

I'm having the same problem. The CC: and BCC: fields work but the TO: field
does not work. I'm inserting a normal "example[ at ]example.com" e-mail address.
If I use the same address in all three fields, the To: field bounces back
telling me there is an error in the address while the other two go through
fine. Very strange. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Steve,

I finally got it to work although I'm not sure how. I deleted the Macro
and rebuilt it. I rebuilt it just exactly as it was and it worked. Something
must of been wrong with it but if so I didn't find it.

Hoopster,

I am happy to hear it is working for you now... thanks for letting us
know. One of those mysteries of the universe, apparently, which seem to
happen from time to time with 'puters.
