border cells width... not suitable for offset printing?
SweetMan <gargiulopiripacchio[ at ]hotmail.com> 17.07.2006 17:50:32
Hi all,

I want to print an excel sheet to pdf to allow the printer to get it
and offset print it.

But I can find a way to set the cell borders width suitable for offset
printing.

I'm using acrobat 6.0 pro to get a perfect PDF but:...

The thinnest border is too thin to get correct plates. (0.1 points
whilt it should be at least 0.25 points)

The next boder is too think.

The bad news is that excel renders all borders as rectangles (OUCH!),
not lines.

This way you cannot think to edit the resulting PDF with
Acrobat+PitStop professional (which allows you to change line widths
by hand).

Is there a way to change the border width manually?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tony
