Stuck on French
Jeff in SD 29.06.2006 16:36:02
I have a particular document, in English, that insists on being spell checked
in French. The problem is specific to this document. When I look at Tools |
Language | Set Language, and scroll down I see all the French and all the
Spanish variations checked. However English is the Default language (at the
top of the languages list). When I enable or start Spell check the dictionary
and prompts are all in French. The problem is peculiar to this document only.
How do I get rid of this?

I experience the same problem with Word 2000 and 2002 on this document.

My need is to perform an English language spell check with prompts and
suggestions in English on this document.

Many thanks in advance!!

Jeff

Language is a format, just like font. Press Ctrl+A to select all the text, then
go to the Language dialog box and choose your preferred "flavor" of English.
