Please refer this bug report to who is responsible for the Microsoft Pinyin 12 BETA Chinese input method.
When inputting the Chinese word "virgin", I type: chunv
It is mistakenly converted to "pure v", instead of "virgin".
It now requires "chu'nv" in order to correctly output "virgin". But this should not be necessary because 'v' is never a consonant.
